Clinical Wireless Monitoring Lead Technician (Norfolk, VA)

The Clinical Wireless Monitoring Lead Technician will be responsible for providing support to the Wireless Monitoring team while ensuring that all department service levels are met.

Your role:

  • Monitor the Wireless Monitoring department queue to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and customer experience.
  • Analyze and process ECG transmissions/events, including notification to physicians based on criteria.
  • Educate patients about Wireless Monitoring service and monitor use and troubleshoot service issues for patients and clients.
  • Assist with training new Wireless Monitoring employees and implementation and enforcement of policies, processes, and procedures.
  • You will work 4–10-hour days 1:00pm-11:30pm ET including a weekend and holiday rotation.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) and an active CCT/CRAT certification.
  • You've acquired 1+ years of experience as a Clinical Sr. Wireless Monitoring Technician or 2+ years' experience in a clinical setting involving ECG/EKG monitoring, interpretation, and analysis
  • Your skills include strong ECG rhythm interpretation and proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You're an excellent communicator, thrive in a high-volume, fast passed environment, are flexible, a team player, have strong attention to detail, exhibit a high level of accuracy, and possess the ability to identify problems.

Additional Information

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Norfolk, VA.
