Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Permanent Security Technician to become part of our vibrant team in the construction sector. This role presents a distinctive chance to engage with cutting-edge security technologies, ensuring the protection and safety of our construction sites and facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of various security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Low Voltage systems from leading manufacturers such as Lenel, Galaxy, Software House, Avigilon, Samsung, and others. Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair various security systems, including CCTV, Access Control, and Low Voltage systems.
  • Conduct regular testing and preventative maintenance on all security systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in security systems and equipment.
  • Program and configure security systems and software according to client specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues regarding security system operations and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with the project management team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Stay updated with the latest security technologies and industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs performed.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Security Technician or in a similar role within the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with security systems and technologies such as CCTV, Access Control, and Low Voltage systems.
  • Proficient in security software and systems from Lenel, Galaxy, Software House, Avigilon, Samsung, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry.
  • Relevant certification or training in security systems installation and maintenance is advantageous.
