Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Digital Design Director who has a strong background in building and developing design teams, leading edge product and forward-looking processes. Experience in footwear and apparel product design is a benefit. As our Digital Design Director, you'll work with the footwear and apparel design teams to identify new digital capabilities, and streamline product design, development and manufacturing. You will help manage the product design and development timelines. You'll leverage your expertise of AI/ML, XR, 3D printing and computational design tools to create a future looking digital design strategy and infrastructure. You will have a solid understanding of digital design best practices. You also are familiar with advanced digital skills and understand how to integrate them into the footwear and apparel product creation process. You will be responsible for managing the platform team and budget. You also will be responsible for developing and communicating strategy to leadership teams across multiple organizations. In your portfolio of work, you should have clear examples of how you've worked on key product lines with complex design requirements. You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in the creation of best-in-class product.

What you will work on

Work with and manage the digital design team to design and make products leveraging industry leading digital design technologiesEducate and implement new tools, processes and workflowsMulti-task and concurrently execute on several productsIdentify and build a strategy for developing the infrastructure and technology alignment across projectsManage, inspire and coach team membersBudget managementPartner on the product lifecycle process with the Design, Development and Engineering organizationsCollaborate with Innovation, Inline Design and our Digital Product Creation partners to drive towards process and technology changeParticipate on multiple interdisciplinary project teamsClearly communicate project status and manage prioritiesEnsure all deliverables are of the highest qualityWork in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situationsExcellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and making persuasive presentations

What you bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Design or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and trainingSeveral examples of successfully launched products that demonstrate complex product design solutions2+ years of product management experience in the field of computational design5+ years experience using 2D and 3D design software5+ years experience in apparel and/or footwear product design3+ years experience in computational design or advanced CAD designAbility to develop simple and elegant solutions to complex process problemsAbility to collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team; communicate and influence throughout organizationsMust be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between projects in a fast-paced environmentExpert skills in product managementExpert skills in AI/ML, XR, Computational design, 3D printing and digital manufacturingStrong skills and demonstrated experience building strategy and leadership communicationStrong budget and financial management skills
