Who we are looking for:

Re:Car dba SLATE is looking for an energetic, organized, experienced Creative Producer to join our growing team.

This role is eligible to work a Hybrid schedule from our office in Troy, MI.

What you get to do:

The Creative Producer will work closely with Head of Creative Operations, Head of Growth Marketing, and other Heads and Producers, and the Creative/Design team to support the development of visual media from inception through final delivery. This will include supporting the strategic direction and production goals of stakeholder teams, leading through all phases, and ensuring projects are produced on strategy, within budget, and to the highest levels of creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Heads and Producers on multiple complex and overlapping projects internally and with external vendors (scoping, timelines, bidding, awarding, pre-pro, workload assessment, etc.)
Responsible for the assembly and coordination of a photo, and/or video team, made up of employees, freelancers or third-party vendors. Engage with talent casting agencies to secure talent, recruit employees, or other contacts, when needed.
Provide accurate and consistent reporting to ensure all stakeholders are aligned throughout projects and that all assets are delivered on schedule and on budget.
Oversee the logistics of video and photo shoots:
Ensure the product is on hand and vehicles are sourced and available.
Secure content shoot locations.
Handle travel and lodging arrangements and accommodations for those involved in remote content shoots.
Create a call sheets for each day of shooting.
Act as a line producer to ensure everything is on schedule according to the shot list.

Provide expertise and guidance in Pre-Production to ensure projects are captured correctly so post-production is seamless and smooth.
Coordinate the hand-off of footage for editing and retouching.
Responsible for implementing and delivering assets to broad stakeholders via a DAM or other standardized means.
Create and manage equipment rental accounts and relationships with rental houses.
Coordinate and manage insurance requirements for production, rentals, locations and talent.
Create and manage production budgets, estimating, invoicing and PO creation.
Create and manage production schedules.
Apply, coordinate and manage production permitting.
Create and manage talent agencies for casting.
Location Scouting.

What you bring to the team:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
10+ years of professional photography and video production experience
5+ years of production experience required
Experience working with a DAM is preferred
Experience video publishing platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Streamyard
Experience in live stream setup and workflows
Experience working with or meeting capture requirements for third party streaming services is preferred (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu etc.)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, experience working within a Project Management System
Excellent written and verbal language skills required. Ability to proof-read copy, scripts and storyboards
Ability to read and comprehend written install guides is preferred
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions
Ability to determine scope and timeline for a given project
Must be willing to travel. This position includes travel to field locations and/or conferences and events. Works primarily in an office environment. Will work hybrid, which may include indoor and outdoor venues, during many events. Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings when needed. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
