Position Overview

Are you a visionary wordsmith with a flair for crafting captivating narratives and simplifying intricate concepts into engaging content? MediVera Compounding Pharmacy is in search of a skilled and seasoned Marketing Copywriter to enhance our vibrant team. This position plays a vital role in producing persuasive and compliant content for our digital platforms and promotional materials. If you possess a robust background in copywriting, particularly in the healthcare sector, and excel in a collaborative setting, we would love to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and compose engaging, thoroughly researched content for our website, blog entries, and various marketing collateral, taking pride in your work.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to formulate and implement content strategies that align with organizational objectives and audience requirements.
  • Engage with pharmacists to ascertain suitable and compliant content for publication. Coordinate with marketing partners on content strategy and website structure.
  • Ensure all content undergoes review and approval by pharmacists prior to publication, maintaining consistency and accuracy in messaging.
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related subjects to guarantee content is precise, pertinent, and current.
  • Oversee the content backlog, aiming to refine and assist in the creation of website content in collaboration with the agency partner.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity and adherence to brand guidelines and compliance standards.
  • Participate in a pharmacy language compliance course to understand the nuances of pharmaceutical content.
  • Monitor and evaluate content performance metrics to enhance and optimize content strategies.
  • Conceive, research, propose, develop, and write content that promotes patient engagement, staff recruitment, and elevates the reputation of MediVera Compounding Pharmacy.
  • Work effectively with designers to produce impactful, idea-driven work.
  • Translate complex medical and pharmaceutical concepts into relatable narratives.
  • Create high-value assets that support departmental and organizational strategic priorities.
  • Establish and maintain positive, effective relationships with team members, marketing colleagues, and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in copywriting, ideally within the healthcare or medical field.
  • Degree in writing (English, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline) or Marketing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a robust portfolio showcasing marketing materials, website content, blog articles, email newsletters, and social media posts.
  • Aptitude for translating complex medical information into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience in the healthcare or medical sector is preferred.
  • Understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with experience in organic and paid search campaigns.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and basic SEO principles.
  • Strong research skills to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Project management skills to effectively handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
