Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Graphics Engineer to enhance our engine team at Velan Studios.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in graphics programming, contributing to our proprietary technology and tools. Our team is compact, typically comprising fewer than ten members, allowing for significant individual impact and collaboration across various stages of development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and optimize graphics features for console and mobile platforms.
  2. Collaborate closely with artists and other developers to ensure seamless integration of graphics into our games.
  3. Contribute to the full lifecycle of feature implementation, from engine runtime to asset conditioning.

Qualifications

  1. A minimum of seven years of experience in graphics programming, with a solid understanding of current GPU architectures.
  2. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and GLSL.
  3. Experience with modern graphics APIs including Vulkan, DX12, and Metal.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is typically between $120,000 and $170,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid holidays, and flexible time-off options.
