Systems Analyst

Primarily responsible for determining client's computing needs and translating them into system specifications. Duties include completing evaluations of hardware and software, configuration, testing, analyzing, and documenting results of system configuration. Responsibilities may also include collecting data, observing workflows, and monitoring system activity. The System Analyst develops processes, trains matrixed team members, and helps guide implementation of new systems and procedures. The System Analyst provides back-up support to the Shared Services Manager, who oversees all organizational IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities – What You'll Do:

Software Development

  • Deploy and configure software to servers, computers, tablets, phones, and other hardware.
  • Brainstorm new ways to add functionality to systems and processes.
  • Interact with management and stakeholders to better understand product requirements, and modifies products, if necessary.
  • Participate in product demonstrations and product testing.
  • Test operational compliance of products; analyzes results, submit observations and justifications to management and stakeholders.
  • Test systems on a regular basis, ensuring quality and function.
  • Create product documentation; write instruction manuals, troubleshooting guides, and system process documents.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to software, hardware, and product performance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Information Technology

  • Maintain currency on new technologies and platforms.
  • Monitor DS2's IT inventory, as well as software products owned by the company.
  • Support 3D modeling services ensuring models and printers are working appropriately.
  • Conduct overall cybersecurity of DS2 infrastructure through firewalls, password protection and other security processes.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade security software (e.g. antivirus programs).
  • Support formal audits and evaluations.

Qualifications - We Need Someone Who:

  • Is a U.S. Citizen and able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar technical field or two+ years of professional work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Has certificates, licenses and registrations in Security+, A+, Network+.
  • Is skilled in using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT); Development Software; Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Has a sound knowledge of software design, deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Is a creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
  • Demonstrates the ability to plan and organize projects.
  • Is committed to excellence and high standards.
  • Has an acute attention to detail.
