Summary

The Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) Enterprise Management Employee Relations Group (EMERG), is looking for motivated individual to join their team as a Human Resources Specialist (NAF/Developmental) NF /04. Position is local at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Telework or local/non-local remote work may be authorized as determined by the agency policy.



Duties
  • Provides management employee relations support to one or more serviced customer organizations, assist with questions regarding collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
  • Provides technical advice and assistance to assigned organizations in resolution of employee relations issues regarding discipline, adverse action, grievances, performance management and recognition, employee counseling and related functions.
  • Identifies, analyzes and resolves problems which require the interpretation and adaptation of standard operating procedures and practices, local and/or Army policies for delivering effective HR services to customers.
  • Advises and assists employees, managers and supervisors on grievance procedures (administrative and negotiated) and appropriate options for proper resolution of conflicts or problems.
  • Ensures disciplinary actions are taken in accordance with Army regulation and collective bargaining agreements. Drafts informal/formal letter/notices, which may include reprimands, proposals, decision letters and other correspondence for management.
