This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service authorized bySection 1117, NDAA FY21, Public Law , and 5 USC, Section 9905.



Duties
  • You will evaluate effectiveness, disseminate policy or guidance on Information Assurance Program requirements.
  • You will ensure oversight, management, mission performance monitoring, or analysis of classified, sensitive, and unclassified Research and Engineering mission critical networks / computer systems.
  • Acquire and manage the necessary resources to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
  • Evaluates and approve development efforts to ensure that baseline security safeguards are appropriately installed.
  • Establishes and enforces Information Assurance related policies and standards.
  • Conduct scans of the applications and prepare/provide reports of vulnerabilities for System Administrators (SAs).
  • Advise senior management on Information Assurance programs, project results, risk levels or security posture.
  • Collect and maintain data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting.
  • Participate in the development or modification of the computer environment cybersecurity program plans and requirements.
