Cognizant is seeking a Microsoft Security Architect

Location – Redmond, WA (remote is also fine)

We need a strong Microsoft Security Architect

Required Skills: Azure Security, Defender for Cloud Servers,Web Application firewall, Azure Network Security Group

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • As the Azure security Architect implement, manage, and monitor security for resources in Azure, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments as part of an end-to-end infrastructure. Recommend security components and configurations to protect the following: Identity and access, Data, Applications

And Networks.

  • Managing the security posture.
  • Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities.
  • Performing threat modelling.
  • Implementing threat protection.
  • Develop security protocols, conduct regular security assessments, and recommend enhancements.
  • Proactively identify vulnerabilities and implement controls to maintain high security levels.
  • Azure Network Security involving different components like Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, and Virtual Network Gateways.
  • deploying features like distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection, security alerts, and threat intelligence.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Encryption and Data Protection

The annual salary for this position is between $ $150000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
