We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Operations Manager** to lead our operations team at Wencor Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to achieve company goals while staying within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Operational Strategies: Create and execute plans to achieve company objectives, including setting goals, developing budgets, and monitoring progress.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise the daily function and operation of production shops, logistics, quality control, and customer service to ensure efficient and effective processes.
- Lead and Develop Operations Teams: Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to team members.
- Enhance Team Performance: Analyze and assess team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive results.
- Manage Shop Production Meetings: Facilitate weekly meetings with shop managers and sales staff to discuss schedules, workload assignments, and blocking issues.
- Identify Process Improvements: Continuously seek opportunities to improve time management, reduce labor hours, and recover components that promote profits and increase value to customers.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects or initiatives.
- Analytical and Decision-Making Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the aviation industry, including sales and marketing principles, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field, with 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the aviation industry.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with moderate noise levels.
- Travel: Occasional travel required, up to 10% of the time.
