Overview

As a member of Crown Properties Collection, the Sr. Manager of Partnership Sales will be responsible for driving new business sales for the MSG family of companies and other CPC clients.

This role will be responsible for achieving individual and department revenue goals though successful prospecting, pipeline management, relationship building, solution and objective-based ideation and selling, and negotiation.

This role will pay a salary of $120,000 to $130,000.

For FT roles: Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a client facing seller of the Crown Properties Collection, primarily focused on selling integrated partnerships for MSG entertainment.
  • Collaborate with VP, Partnership Sales and other CPC colleagues to source, develop and negotiate complex, multiyear partnerships.
  • Manage sales process across internal and external stakeholders, from outreach to contract negotiation.
    Relentlessly prospect and drive outreach to potential partners.
  • Engage in a partner-focused, consultative sales approach, identifying and understanding client needs and delivering creative solutions that drive revenue.
  • In conjunction with the Partner Solutions and Strategy teams, develop best-in-class presentations.
  • Own a room, present dynamically and instill confidence to challenge our clients to ensure we are doing what is best for both businesses long-term.
  • Leverage MSG hosting assets to develop new relationships and close deals.
  • Contribute to a collaborative sales environment by working closely with all Madison Square Garden and Sphere revenue departments to ensure new partnerships are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Evolve with CPC as it grows its clientele base to support sales efforts for future clients.
  • Drive leads across the broader Oak View Group portfolio if/when appropriate.
  • Participate in and embrace team culture where wins are collective and not individual; Celebrate success.
  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Proven track record with 7+ years of relevant experience across Sales, Media and/or Partnerships roles
  • Other beneficial work experiences could include but are not limited to sports and/or live event marketing, brand management, corporate consulting or corporate affairs
    • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be dynamic, forward-thinking, extremely analytical, and well organized.
    • Must have strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
    • Strong natural selling skills with proven experience in pitch and strategic positioning.
  • Belief in a data-driven approach to sales and experienced in CRM (preferably Salesforce)
