Title: Peer Support Specialist
Job Duties: Peer Support Specialists are people in a peer-designated role providing direct services with a personal experience of recovery from mental health, substance use, or trauma conditions who receive specialized training and supervision to guide and support others who are experiencing similar mental health, substance use or trauma issues toward increased wellness. A Peer Support Specialist is an individual who has made a personal commitment to his or her recovery, has maintained that recovery over some time, has taken the 80-hour Peer Support Learning training (or equivalent) to work in mutuality with others, and is willing to share what he or she has learned about recovery in an inspirational way.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
- A valid California driver's license preferred
- A mental health/SUD lived experience

About the Campus: San Mateo is our newest campus, this 16 bed MHRC will provide clients a place to heal. This is part of an exciting new program.
The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.
Pay Range:
$22—$24 USD
