Position Overview

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast paced, dynamic work environments. The HRBP coaches leaders and teams and provides guidance and expertise in the development of the organizational talent management, workforce planning, organizational design, change management, leader effectiveness, performance management, compensation and rewards and employee relations concerns.

Key Responsibilities

· Understand dynamics and key business priorities of client groups to provide support to business leaders on effectively managing and leading their organizations.

· Act as a motivator of change. Support organizational change management activities to drive culture change and team effectiveness strategies.

· Develops robust talent management plans to attract, retain, develop, and engage talent in critical roles.

· Helps guide and partner with Center of Excellence (COE) owners in the shaping of appropriate and innovative HR solutions.

· Coach managers and teams to successfully manage all cyclical performance management processes (talent management, annual reviews, merit planning).

· Ability to understand, use and identify trends in data and analytics to help drive decisions.

· Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

· Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

· Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

· Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

· Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.

· Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of programs and retention efforts.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or another relevant program is required.

· 5+ years of demonstrated success as a Human Resource Business Partner or Generalist is required.

· Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry and proficiency in Workday are preferred.

Working Conditions
