The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing front desk services to guests, undertaking various administrative duties, and providing all appropriate information to guests, fellow employees, and visitors, exceeding guest expectations.

What you will be doing

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Check-in guests, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
Thoroughly complete all guest transactions.
Promote and sell special hotel programs.
Professionally interact with resort staff, assisting another department with necessary information.
Complete all night clerk reports and responsibilities.
Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies.
Communicate all pertinent information to the Front Office Managers and Supervisors.
Follow set procedures for posting, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.
Solicit guest feedback via guest comment cards.
Monitor, sell, and post items from the Sundries shop.
Assist in projects and other duties as needed.
The ideal candidate for this positionHigh school graduate or equivalent.
Two years of college education is preferred.
Two years of experience in the service industry, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Works well under pressure in a guest service capacity
Excellent oral and communication skills.
Pleasant telephone demeanor.
