Duties

Responsible for aiding the ATID Leadership in the development, implementation, monitoring and execution of Army Coaching policies for all cohorts in the Army's institutional, operational and self-development domains. Serve as a principal source of expertise within the ATID on all matters relating to the Army Coaching Program initiatives and objectives. Ensure the integration of all activities essential to promote the progress of the program's initiatives and objectives critical to achieving an effective and more self-aware Total Force. Set and adjust short-term priorities and prepares schedules for program's completion of work. Manage a Coaching Community of Practice (CoP) meeting, while developing and maintaining cooperative and collaborative working relationships with senior leaders and staff, external commercial entities, and academic institutions. Oversees ACP contracts and serve as a Primary or Alternate Contracting Officer Representative (COR) as needed.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Position may require Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) up to 10% of the time. Employee must have achieved ICF credentials or be able to earn ICF credentialing within 12months of employment date. Must be able to obtain and maintain Contract Officer Representative (COR) certification. Employee must successfully complete the annual refresher training in order to maintain COR certification. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes evaluating problems and issues that impact mission initiatives and objectives; evaluating information and issues affecting areas such as development, design, and implementation of a coaching and/or leadership development program; identifying and measuring program accomplishments in order to develops methods to improve the effectiveness with which programs are administered; preparing information papers, planning documents, reports and/or briefings to senior leaders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
