Overview: Sherwin-Williams is in search of enthusiastic individuals with a passion for sales and customer engagement to participate in our Leadership Development Program ("LDP").

Program Details: The LDP is an immersive eight-week initiative that provides hands-on experience within an Automotive Branch, aimed at equipping participants with a well-rounded understanding through practical involvement.

Successful candidates will be placed in training roles within the Automotive Branch, gaining valuable insights into:

  • Sales strategies
  • Customer service excellence
  • Financial management
  • Strategic business planning

This program also offers opportunities for professional networking, fostering relationships with various departments such as Marketing, Operations, and Research & Development.

Career Development: Our training equips you with essential skills for a successful career in management and professional sales. Upon completion of the program, participants will advance to available Assistant Branch Manager positions.

Relocation Requirement: Candidates must be prepared to relocate during the training phase and for the subsequent placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop market strategies based on branch objectives and financial goals
  • Implement business initiatives to enhance sales and profitability
  • Acquire product knowledge for effective customer recommendations
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Ensure accurate documentation of customer transactions
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety and security
  • Support staff training and performance management
  • Address customer and employee inquiries
  • Assist in staffing and scheduling
  • Analyze financial reports related to Profit & Loss ("P&L")
  • Assist with deliveries as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
  • A bachelor's degree is required by the start of the program
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Willingness to relocate upon program completion
  • A degree in Sales, Marketing, Management, Business, Operations, or Supply Chain
  • At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
  • Experience in team-oriented environments
  • Leadership experience supervising teams
