We oversee maintenance and operations for 65 buildings, covering more than 10.1 million gross square feet of space. This includes the 11-story, 609,000-square-foot neuroscience research building, which houses one of the world's highest concentrations of neuroscientists. Our responsibilities include operational and administrative support, strategic planning, and project management.

Furthermore, as the School of Medicine continues to expand its presence both on and off campus in areas such as teaching, clinical care, and research, our team remains instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of clinical care, advancing research initiatives, and facilitating educational endeavors.

Acts as the liaison for occupants and services and provides operational support. Responsible for custodial services and minor facilities maintenance tasks and assists on larger projects.Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Point of contact for all facilities-related inquiries from the occupants and visitors of the facility.Submits and/or assists in the submission and follow-up of work orders and service tickets for all facility-related issues.Conducts daily custodial quality assurance of work completed by the custodial contractor of the facility.Corrects and reports deficiencies in a timely manner.Completes routine assessments of the facility's architectural and overall aesthetics for improvement opportunities. Information should be submitted and tracked to completion in a timely manner.Performs general custodial procedures; collects and disposes of trash and recyclable products.Vacuum and dust all work areas, and clean restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas in accordance with the custodial service levels.Cleans the interior and exterior windows as needed.Performs minor repairs to all lighting systems, including exit lights, emergency lights, and exterior lighting systems.Performs the replacement of damaged or missing ceiling tiles. Clears minor drain blockages to sinks, floor drains, drinking fountains, and toilets.Performs daily assessment of exterior grounds identifying and correcting deficiencies as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.
