The Lilly Professional Apprenticeship Program is a 13-month (fixed duration employee) program for people without a 4-year degree. As a Lilly Professional Apprentice, you will receive a combination of formal training, on-the-job learning, and mentoring in a key functional area to be equipped to compete for a Lilly position after successful completion of the apprenticeship. Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will have the opportunity to advance their careers, including consideration for full-time positions at Lilly.
Responsibility Statement:
Lilly is seeking an Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Operations Apprentice who shares our passion for driving the integration of high performance with high integrity, enabling Lilly to Win with Integrity. The purpose of the E&C Operations Apprentice role is to help assure E&C policies and procedures, training, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) translation is consistently and appropriately developed, maintained, delivered, and retired. The E&C Operations Apprentice will primarily engage with the E&C Policy Center of Expertise and affiliate personnel around the world, to process and manage procedure and training translations, develop procedure training solutions, and upload procedures and training for global implementation. Periodic support of E&C Systems Management and Analytics, and the U.S E&C team will be in scope by request. The top candidate will raise ideas to simplify related work. With coaching and feedback, Lilly will provide the ability to further personal career growth as a professional.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Work with the Policy Center of Expertise to provide centralized support for worldwide Lilly sites (e.g. LillyNow)Prepare procedures for global implementation and retirement within applicable systems (e.g. Veeva QualityDocs and contentful)Use the Lilly AI tool to translate procedures and training for 3 annual launches.Assist with planned minor procedure updates and corrections, per approved business requests.Use existing templates to prepare E&C procedure training. Support the Policy Center of Expertise by adhering to high standards of data quality and governance, working independently on assigned tasks.Build relationships with a broad team of experienced business partners and stakeholders across global E&C. Basic Qualifications:HS Diploma or equivalent with 2 or more years of work experience. Additional Skills/Preferences:At least 1 year of collegeMust be seeking a college degree. Proven experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to administer, manage, and prioritize work tasks as instructed and within defined timelines.Experience with one or more technical platforms, such as document management systems.Experience with complex classroom or business projects and the ability to drive to a successful outcome.Experience within a regulated industry.Experience with project management.Excellent interpersonal and networking skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well in a team environment, both in person and remoteStrong organizing/multi-tasking skills and attention to detailLearning agility and self-management skills Additional Information: This position is not permanent.
