Job Overview

Quadel Consulting Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Program Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for conducting management reviews of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with HUD requirements, and providing follow-up monitoring to ensure property owners are meeting their obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct management reviews of assigned properties, including reviews of tenant file documents, rent calculations, and FHEO compliance.
  • Conduct on-site reviews of multifamily project-based Section 8 units, documenting conditions and ensuring property owners are making necessary corrections.
  • Complete Management Review Reports, forwarding copies to property owners, HUD, and entering data into the Integrated Real Estate Maintenance System (iREMS) and the Automated Contract Administration Processing (ACAP) System.
  • Update iREMS and ACAP on a timely basis, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with property owners, tenants, HUD, and the general public, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Complete work professionally, with attention to accuracy, thoroughness, technical knowledge, timeliness, and with the skills necessary to efficiently and effectively complete assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to the requirements of the quality management system as applied to this position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Compliance Manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred. May substitute additional relevant experience for educational requirement.
  • Five years of progressively responsible property management experience working with multi-family project-based Section 8 properties preferred.
  • Experience with other Section 8 and property management experience and/or background as a financial analyst preferred.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the state, using a personal automobile for Company business. Employees are required to have a valid driver's license, a valid vehicle registration, and current automobile liability and collision insurance coverage.
  • Must attend Quadel HUD Subsidized Multi-Family Housing Occupancy Training and pass the Quadel Certified Assisted Housing Manager Exam.
