Reports directly to the Manager, Workforce Services Team.Serves as a liaison to coordinate with the Office of Human Resources (AHR) on all aspects of the Office of the Chief Counsel's organizational human resources support, services, policies, and status reporting.
Exercises a high level of independence in project planning activities.Resolves most problems and work issues to develop or recommends approaches to address current and anticipated problems or issues on human capital initiatives, programs, and resources to accomplish projects/work activities.
Conducts the necessary research and collaborates with the AHR POC to provide managers with accurate advice, guidance, and workforce support on human capital programs, including position management, job documentation and analysis, workforce planning, manpower analysis, strategic recruitment, and FAA hiring flexibilities, as needed.
Provides guidance, trains, and mentors less-experienced team members. Leads teams/projects, designs and recommends solutions to complex problems.Completes appropriate documents for assigned service and program area(s) of responsibility; prepares and reviews management reports and/or contractual documents and develops and recommends improvements to systems and processes to improve operational efficiency for human capital programs.
Utilizes a variety of automated databases/systems to research and manipulate a variety of workforce data, and to plan, track, and review workload activity.
Develops and/or prepares regular, recurring reports to provide updates, and to assist management with making budget, workforce analysis, and other planning decisions.
Drafts a variety of technical and routine documents including emails, letters, memos, reports, and filings. Proofreads final documents for accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and completeness.Uses Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe software to accomplish work-related tasks to organize, store, and retrieve a variety of documentation types.
Scans, indexes, labels, organizes, and files both electronic and paper copies of documents. Accurately enters, updates, and tracks information in a variety of data tracking and document management systems.Maintains human capital management correspondence via an automated tracking database by ensuring all incoming and outgoing documents are input accurately and timely.
Provides support to the office through logistical case file management. Designs and recommends solutions to improve operational efficiency.Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders; such as immediate office staff and across the organization to convey, obtain, and gather information.
Contacts typically are internal and external to the Office of the Chief Counsel, with regular contacts among practice area managers, internal stakeholders, and other external parties to share information about the FAA and explain the application of policies and procedures.
Develops presentations and reports for varied internal and external audiences.Work is reviewed typically through status reports and at project completion, to ensure policy compliance and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or other work activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
