Occupational Safety Health Analyst

Leidos is a leading provider of innovative solutions for national security and health challenges. We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Safety Health Analyst to join our team.
Job Summary:The Occupational Safety Health Analyst will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. This role will involve conducting safety inspections, investigating incidents, and developing strategies to prevent accidents and injuries.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on safety metrics and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in occupational safety and health, with a focus on industrial hygiene and safety management.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification.
- Experience with safety management software and systems.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
- Experience with conducting safety audits and inspections.
