BAE Systems is actively recruiting for the right individual to help with our quality efforts as a Quality Assurance Data Analyst in our Louisville, Kentucky facility.

As a Quality Assurance Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business value. You'll use data analytics, data visualization, and data modeling techniques to identify and recognize trends and help other departments make business decisions to improve processes. As a QA Data Analyst, you'll review and validate customer data collected, oversee the deployment of data to the warehouse, and develop policies for the collection and analysis of data. You'll create new data procurement and processing programs, monitor analytics and metric results, and implement new data analysis methodologies. Working with the IT department, you'll help deploy software and hardware upgrades. Through your meticulous work, you will contribute to the company's reputation for quality, compliance with industry regulations, and customer satisfaction, ultimately impacting the business's success in a competitive market.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve issues related to data quality
  • Develop and implement data quality standards and processes
  • Generate data reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with IT and data management teams to design and implement data strategies and models
  • Use statistical tools and software to interpret and analyze data
  • Monitor and update data dictionaries and metadata to ensure data consistency
  • Provide technical support to team members facing data-related issues
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Conduct data cleaning to rid the system of old, unused, or duplicate data
  • Filter and clean data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Monitor and analyze data and data quality, ensuring consistency, integrity, accuracy and compliance with internal standards and regulations
  • Report on data quality issues and present data quality metrics
Required Education, Experience, & Skills ​​​​
• Bachelor's degree in Business and/or another related field with two years applicable experience, or the overall equivalent.

• An effective communicator able to efficiently convey information, written, verbal, and via presentations.

• Proven work experience as a Data Quality Analyst or Data Analyst.

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Advanced computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Able to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

• A fine attention to detail with efficient workspace organization skills.

• Effective problem-solving skills.

• Able to manage time effectively, prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, and multitasking efficiently.

• Physical endurance and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with Power BI, SQL, and programming databases.
  • Working knowledge of TIPQA software platform.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • Fundamental understanding of Quality Assurance fundamentals.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $99100

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
