Reveler's Hour is a wine and pasta focused restaurant in Washington DC. Reveler's Hour is from the same restaurant group that brought you Tail Up Goat, a Michelin starred, James Beard nominated restaurant.

We are looking for Beverage Director. We are looking for someone who leads with kindness in every interaction and who will be warm and welcoming to colleagues and guests alike.

Believes in the nobility of service and tireless commitment to providing the best possible dining experience to our guests

Has management experience (restaurant or otherwise)

Has experience selling wine - no special certification required

Loves food, drink and taking care of people.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Creating onboarding and training materials and systems for our FOH team members as it relates to beverage education during onboarding/training

Managing continued beverage education for the staff

Mastering the reservation system

Coordinating menu changes with the kitchen

Creating wine notes and disseminating info to the team

Selling wine during service and leading the charge to complete monthly inventories

Managing the pars and ordering of liquor, wine, beer and n/a options

Keeping bar sheets - both recipes and par sheets up to date

Creative voice in seasonal beverage lists

Managing monthly inventory and pricing

The schedule is five days a week and typically 45-50 hours per week.

We are looking for someone with full availability. The restaurant is open seven nights a week for dinner.
