ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Resource Analyst to support a NASA contract in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison to support the Grant Program Management team in the Earth Science Division.
  • Be able to understand the grants process, to be able to explain grants management objectives, policies, and procedures and to ensure cooperation from all parties concerned in the judicious use of public funds.
  • Ensure grant packages are complete and sent to the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) for processing.
  • Act as liaison to support the Interagency Agreement (IAA) process team in the Earth Science Division.
  • Ensure that Interagency transfer packages are complete; that proper financial information is received from both Program Manager and other government agencies.
  • Process Purchase Requisitions (PRs) using SAP and Raptor.
  • Be able to run necessary reports using SAP/BOBJAO/Excel to be able to track progress of both grant and IAA actions.
  • Prepare memoranda, bulletins, other directives, and correspondence related to these duties.

Requirements :

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills-ability to interact with all levels of professionals in both the government and private sectors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Accounting and/or financial background desirable.
  • Organized, detailed oriented with the ability to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Ability to use and understand SAP and other financial systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA HQ. Extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or five years or more years of experience in lieu of education or 7 years of experience.
