Position Overview

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is in search of a dedicated, detail-oriented, and skilled individual for the role of Technical Support Analyst II.

Role Summary:

The Technical Support Analyst II is responsible for assisting end users with a variety of technical issues. This role involves identifying, investigating, and resolving technical challenges. The analyst will respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, and in-person inquiries. Documentation, tracking, and monitoring of issues are essential to ensure prompt resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and support of commercial software and related updates.
  • Maintain and update the solutions database with relevant resolutions.
  • Provide problem-solving support, including hardware/software installation and configuration in accordance with computing standards.
  • Monitor and enforce IT policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new users in identity and access management systems.
  • Set up and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers and scanners.
  • Perform maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on PCs/laptops and Windows desktop applications.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Must fulfill position and certification requirements as outlined in relevant directives within a specified timeframe.

Security Clearance:

  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Programs
  • Willingness to undergo a Counterintelligence Polygraph

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with security policies and relevant guiding documents.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and effectively collaborate with various personnel.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Demonstrated originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic area as needed.

Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, both in verbal and written communication.
