POSITION SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, the Inventory Control Specialist has a primary responsibility of increasing and maintaining company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels; in this role, you will also ensure that optimal inventory is present and ready for use.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


• Daily Cycle counts

• Researching inventory overages and shortages find root cause

• Research product with no locations

• Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.

• Slotting and labeling of warehouse locations

• Runs weekly Scrap report and pulls expired/short, dated product

• Pulls restricted product from locations and works with regulatory team

• Daily Pick Pack functions

• Daily Receiving Activities

• Research service cloud complaints

• Follows all existing company policies and procedures.

• Work is performed in a Warehouse environment

• Occasionally be exposed to dust

• Noise level in the work environment is consistently moderate

PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES

• Stand 8 hours a day (with periodic breaks allowed) and walk up to an hour

• Push/pull up to 30 lbs.

• Lift up to 30 lbs.

• Observe and hear warning signs and signals within all areas of the company

• Turn one's body, bend down, squat, move hands and upper extremities frequently through the day

• Wear protective eye wear when required

• Wear protective hearing gear when required

• Wear toe protection when required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


• 1+ year of Inventory Control in a Warehouse/Distribution environment

• 1+ year of experience with Basic MS Windows navigation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


• High school education or GED

• 1+ year of Inventory Control in a Warehouse/Distribution environment

• 1+ year of experience with Basic MS Windows navigation
