About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Production Control Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. In this role, you'll play a critical part in our Mission Components value stream, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high visibility, high mix area to ensure material availability and provide production floor support.
- Conduct material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting to inform production decisions.
- Manage kit readiness, working with cross-functional teams in Bill of Materials, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control.
- Provide production floor support, including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement, and completion of units in the MRP system.
- Meet MRP schedule requirements to ensure timely delivery of products.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MRP, SAP PRISM.
- Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
- Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/Skype).
What We Offer
- A competitive salary range of $64,000 - $128,000.
- Eligibility for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
- Eligibility for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs.
