Charter Training Administrator Overview:

The Charter Training Administrator is responsible for the coordination of training and station training record retention for charters operated by Sun Country Airlines. This position provides administrative oversight to charter station vendors to ensure regulatory compliance, meeting organizational goals, maintaining accurate record keeping, and ensuring system-wide consistency through auditing.

Essential roles and responsibilities of a Charter Training Administrator:

  • Coordinate training for internal and external customers for assigned charter operations to include above wing, below wing, fuel, deice, screening, and GSC handling
  • Assess charter training needs; assist in charter training resource development to help station personnel maintain and improve their job skills and knowledge
  • Manage enrollments and deactivations for charter station personnel via Learning Management System
  • Update charter station vendor contact information via database to ensure currency
  • Provide timely and courteous communications to internal and external customers via email and phone
  • Support special projects and committees as assigned by Manager, Ground Operations Training
  • Ensures compliance standards established by the Federal Agencies and Sun Country Airlines
  • Ensures charter station training rosters are complete and accurate
  • Ensures regulatory compliance of training records and vendor qualifications
  • Ability to stay current with all regulatory changes affecting Customer Experience
  • Represent the company in meetings with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive relationships with service providers and charter customers
  • Provide training assistance to Sun Country charter stations. Travel may be required up to 20%
  • Any other duties assigned by management

The qualifications we are looking for in a Charter Training Administrator include:

  • Minimum of 1 year professional training or related experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous airline experience
  • Previous administrative work with emphasis in customer service and strong written communication skills
  • Practical knowledge with ground operations, charter operations, handling, passenger service, and airline security, understanding of TSA, FAA regulatory environment
