About the RoleWorkday's Global Sales Enablement team is looking to hire an experienced Portfolio Program Manager with outstanding business operations and communication skills.

The individual will have a demonstrated passion for bringing to bear their technical skills, critical thinking, and problem solving to design, implement, and govern enablement portfolio data, systems, and processes.

The primary focus is to make the best possible use of enablement and business resources to deliver the maximum value and benefits from projects and programs within the strategic portfolio.

The position includes ownership of tooling, data, processes, and communications for identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating project and program resources.
The position is also responsible for reporting on the state and performance of initiatives within the enablement project portfolio.

This role assumes the overarching responsibility for supporting enablement leadership in their efforts at overseeing, managing and prioritizing the entire life cycle of enablement investments and initiatives to optimally achieve enterprise goals and objectives.

Data Management and Process GovernanceFacilitate and coordinate the establishment of the project portfolio definition, its structure and processes, from intake and strategic alignment of projects and programs to portfolio categories and criteria, through evaluation, selection and prioritization; to execution.

Use metrics and data visualization effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making at the team and organizational level.

Develop, implement, and maintain enablement portfolio source of truth (Smartsheets); facilitate simplified user experience that promotes impeccable data hygiene and on-demand reporting.

Launch common practices, tools, and templates for portfolio and project management; Create and maintain required project portfolio documentation and artifactsManage day-to-day portfolio management activities; partner closely with RevOps PMO to facilitate portfolio reviews and road-mapping activities.

Facilitate the budget planning and spend processes.

Ensure the adherence to the appropriate governance functions relating to the portfolio and in accordance with enterprise guidelines, policies and practices.

Perform regular health checks of project QA checklists.
Ensure scheduling of key tollgates.
Ensure acceptance criteria for operational readiness are met prior to launch.
Monitor for proper change management of scope and schedule; Ensure communication of change with impacted stakeholders.
Identify staffing needs.
As mandated and resourced by leadership, ensure and balance the availability of the required skills and competencies across teams.
Effectively manage portfolio roadmapsCreate and govern criteria and procedures for making portfolio decisions.

Engage with and conduct periodic reviews with enablement, RevOps, executives, and other relevant bodies to validate and assess the project portfolio, implement change, and reprioritize to meet business needs as required.

Conduct regular meetings with the senior leadership to advise and alert them of any issues arising from the performance of the individual projects within the portfolio.

Ensure the oversight and coordination of dependencies across the portfolio, and resolve or escalate conflicts.
Maintain roadmap of project/initiative delivery.
Manage prioritization, resourcing and scheduling of requests working with business and enablement leadership.
Assist enablement leadership with facilitation of strategy.
Support and advise executives on actions required to balance the portfolio.

Create communications and reporting around the enablement project portfolio and the individual performance of initiatives to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

years experience in revenue operations, business operations, consulting, or equivalent.

years of advanced proficiency with Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint), Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) productivity suites or Project Management technologies.

years in an enterprise SaaS environment, in particular field sales or working closely with revenue generating teams.

Qualifications:


Deep project or portfolio management experience with demonstrated ability to design, implement, and govern technical systems and scale efficient processes across diverse portfolio of projects and stakeholders.

Experience in a go-to-market function, in particular operational experience working within or across a revenue organizationSmartsheets experience a big plus.

BA, BS, or equivalent in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
