Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Vice President of Asset Management to join our team at Landmark Properties. This is a key leadership role that will oversee the entire spectrum of asset management for a growing portfolio of new development/construction deals as well as manage new lease ups and existing, stabilized assets within the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Oversight: Monitor the construction, lease-up, compliance, and on-going management for a portfolio of assigned properties.
  • Investment Analysis: Own portfolio modeling, valuation, summary analysis and presentation to internal and external customers (executive leadership, partners, etc.).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the operations team (i.e. affiliated property management company) to oversee leasing and budgeting for the portfolio while reporting internally and externally significant strategic shifts or variances.
  • Hold/Sell Recommendations: Oversee hold/sell recommendations as well as helping manage the refinancing or disposition of properties.
  • Appraisal and Reporting: Engage, manage and review yearly appraisals of properties within the portfolio. Prepare quarterly and annual asset, portfolio and market reports for investors while working with accounting and development to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Special Requests: Respond to special requests for information from investor and capital clients in a professional manner and on an expedited basis.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct periodic property inspections and report findings.
  • Operating Budgets and Audits: Assist with operating budgets, tax returns and annual audits for assets in the portfolio.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and manage relationships with all entities and agencies involved with assets.
  • Communication and Leadership: Take responsibility for leading frequent communication with partners via emails, calls, and in-person meetings. Maximize value of real estate through execution of business plan.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of commercial real estate investment management experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills appropriate for this position and for the tasks assigned by the Head of Portfolio Management. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good interpersonal, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Significant experience and track record of advancement in commercial real estate finance and/or investment analysis. Advanced Microsoft Office skills; advanced/expert in MS Excel. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
  • Travel: Varies; the hire for this role may be required to attend investor property tours both locally and nationwide, as well as important industry conferences. When not local, travel will typically be 0-2 trips per month typically 0-2 nights per trip.
