Summary Description

The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinatoris driven by customer insights and analytics to maintain, receive, and deliver goods on time. In this role, incumbent will be held accountable for the movement of domestic and international cargo.

Incumbent will follow customer-centric supply chain processes, systems, policies, and programs and ensure Perez Trading remains compliant in its policies and processes with employment-related key controls, regulations and applicable federal and state laws.

Essential Duties -Must effectively carry out the essential duties and responsibilities of this position in a manner that consistently demonstrates Perez's mission and core values in a positive manner. Other duties may be assigned.

· Remain in compliant with Perez's core values of being results driven, customer centric, innovating, ethical, respectful and detailed oriented.

· Maintains strong, influential relationships with Business Leaders and other internal/external partners to drive continuous improvement.

· Follows a culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and transparency among cross functional teams.

· Safely and efficiently performs assigned processes to meet the required daily logistics activities including processing shipping request, bookings, invoicing, bill of ladings, following up on production reports, delivery confirmations, updating production dates/deliveries, verifying alerts & reports, and sam generation.

· Conduct invoice reconciliation and processing; working directly with service providers, placing a strong emphasis on attention to detail, professionalism, and follow through

· Supports freight and logistics activities/projects to ensure business expectations are met and/or exceeded.

· Research and resolve accounting issues related to process flaws.

· Manage vendor payment and invoice processing.

· Identify budgetary and financial anomalies and drive resolutions

· Create financial month-end closing summaries and year-end performance results for CCL freight and logistics budget

· Maintain document retention.

· Compiles carrier and route assignments.

· Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.

· Provide customer service to all customers (internal and external). Assure effective and timely communications to fulfil customer delivery requirements. Keep current on customer requirements, routing guides, pallet specs, etc.

· Review transportation/parcel movement performance and assist in the resolution of service issues and/or carrier selection.

· Successfully conducts and completes all assigned trainings.

· Participates in continuous improvement training and trains others.

· Protect the interests of the organization and the employees in accordance with company policies and appropriate employment, benefit, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations.

· Report to the office daily and on-time following the established office hours, ensuring all management reports are analyzed, pertinent data is shared with appropriate parties, schedule in-person meetings to resolve logistic issues with ocean and air providers, ensure projects deliverables are on track, and ascertain that team leads and direct reports are working synergistically to ensure shipments leave/arrive as schedule to meet customer demands.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

· Experience influencing at all levels of organization, including building high engagement through effective collaboration with key stakeholders and implementing company-wide changes

· Experience with Supply Chain Systems, including but not limited to ERP systems (SAP) Warehouse & Transportation Management Systems, and Supply Chain visibility tools

· Establish or follow prioritization processes to drive work, completing work with a sense of urgency.

· Identify opportunities in problems through analytical thinking, collaboration and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

· Bilingual English/Spanish.

Education and/or Experience: Minimum three (3) years' experience working in logistics moving cargo both domestic/international destinations is required. High school diploma required; AA is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

· The employee is required to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, exchange information and ideas so others will understand and have the ability to discuss inquiries with others. Incumbent must be able to move around in the office, frequently ascend/descend a set of stairs; operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, scanner, binding equipment, and hole puncher.

· The employee is required to traverse and constantly positions self to maintain files in file cabinets extending from the ground up to about 6 feet height. The employee must be able to lift 20-pound boxes. Specific observation abilities required by this job include observing details at close and long range.
