We’re an asset based fast-growing company that is partnering with (primarily) those needing refrigerated LTL services. Fruition Logistics helps small and large businesses deliver their temperature controlled freight across America. We take our job seriously and are looking for a great team player to join our fast-growing team.
This role is for a sales agent who can add new customers to our ongoing operations. Having an existing book of business and being experienced in sales is a huge advantage and highly preferred. Some dispatching may be needed, but this role is primarily to obtain new sales for our company.
This position requires a candidate who is self-motivated, has a passion for logistics, is highly organized, and detail-oriented. The Freight Sales Agent should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving abilities. Additionally, the candidate should be results oriented and help increase sales. Joining our team with a book of business will warrant higher pay.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm (can be flexible)
In-office; hybrid opportunities may be available for the right candidate
Main Job Responsibilities
- Call, email, visit potential customers to convert them into consistent customers.
-Oversee the transportation of your customer’s freight and ensure timely delivery
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for transportation of goods
-Work with dispatch department to hand over customers so you focus more on getting more business.
- Collaborate with sales and dispatch team to identify new business opportunities
- Attend Trade Shows and other networking events (paid by Fruition) to gain business
- Provide professional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships
- Utilize our systems for customer management and tracking
Skills:
- Experience in sales, particularly in freight customer sales
- Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management
- Proficient in dispatching shipments and coordinating logistics operations
- Experienced sales skills and a positive outlook.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations for freight transportation
