IT GOAT is an IT Managed Service Provider seeking an experienced MSP Account Executive to join our team in Dallas, TX. We have clients throughout the US and provide ongoing IT Services for Businesses with 20 and 500 employees. Our services are designed to help businesses offload ongoing IT Support and Management so they can focus on what they do best.


This position has a starting salary of $60,000 per annum, with an uncapped commission plan. IT GOAT provides employees health insurance at an employee cost of $0.00 per pay period, a 401(k) plan with company match, an a $15,000 basic life and AD&D, paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave, paid family leave, and many other available benefits.

Applicants must live in the Dallas, TX area and be able to work in our Dallas HQ office. This is an in-office position so all applicants must have reliable transportation to and from home to client sites.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Engage with the established IT GOAT services team to deliver top-line IT Managed Services to new prospects
  • Identify and prospect potential clients using advanced intent data signals, web traffic, and other data sources
  • Set meetings and demos for Senior Account Executives to drive deals from demo to proposal
  • Aggressively work potential accounts through the sales cycle – initiating contact, building relationships, qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions, closing, and onboarding
  • Attending, creating, and delivering presentations to prospective customers highlighting IT GOAT's value-added MSP services
  • Attend account reviews with customers on performance, forecasts, and future opportunities for MSP solutions
  • Communicate customer and market trends to IT GOAT senior leadership
  • Collaborating and working with other staff and vendor support resources to resolve issues and provide effective field support services
  • Passion for teamwork, continuing education, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service
  • Must be well-spoken, outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible
  • Sell Help Desk Services, Network Operations Services, Security Operations Services, vCIO Services, Hardware-as-a-Services, Backup-as-a-Service, VOIP, LTE, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and more



MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Previous Managed Service Provider or IT Services firm experience required
  • Minimum of 1+ years experience in a B2B prospecting role
  • Minimum of 1+years’ experience with CRM applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate with users and vendors
  • Passion for teamwork, continuing education, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service
  • Must be well-spoken, outgoing, organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible

  • Outlook experience
  • Experience working with ConnectWise, Cisco Meraki, Proofpoint, IronScales, Dropsuite, IT Glue
  • Business to Business Prospecting
  • Experience carrying a quota
