Position Summary:

Weathermatic is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive to bolster our Sales Team. As a Senior Account Executive you'll be instrumental in propelling sales growth, cultivating robust client relationships, and advocating for Weathermatic's pioneering water management solutions. This role presents an exhilarating opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and sustainability-centric setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Exceed sales targets by actively identifying and pursuing new business prospects within the designated territory.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Forge and nurture enduring relationships with current and prospective clients, serving as their primary liaison for Weathermatic's suite of products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Cultivate a profound understanding of Weathermatic's product portfolio, particularly SmartLink, and adeptly articulate its value propositions to clients.
  • Sales Strategies: Devise and implement strategic sales plans, collaborating with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) for prospecting, lead generation, and delivering compelling sales presentations.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to pinpoint avenues for expansion.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-structured sales pipeline and furnish regular updates to the sales management team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional departments, including Marketing and Product, to align sales initiatives with overarching corporate goals.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports and forecasts to the Sales Manager and executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of proven experience as an Account Executive, preferably within a B2B context, emphasizing customer acquisition and revenue augmentation.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to operate autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational acumen and adept time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot) and sales software (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the irrigation and water management sector is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and fervently committed to sustainability.


Reports To:

Vice President, Sales


Location: Dallas, TX (In-person)


Base Compensation: $120,000; OTE: $230,000
