The We Clean Housekeeping Operations Manager is responsible: for overseeing our team members and management operations for assigned client properties. S/he will hire and train team members, prepare and review weekly work schedules, make client site visits throughout the Westchester and Rockland County during the work-week to oversees cleaning crew members and build a positive working relationship with client management. This individual would be comfortable rolling up his/her sleeves to help their team members due to staff shortages while offering guidance and responding to staff questions and needs, when necessary. 


Specific daily tasks include:

 • Partners with staff with relation to operations and schools’ standards.

 • Interacts directly with staff to ensure assignments are completed in a timely manner. Manage day to day operations.

 • Establish performance goals for employees. And provide regular feedback, coaching and discipline, as needed 

• Provides necessary and on-going training for all team members. 

• Prepares daily and weekly assignment schedules to ensure client needs and projected staffing needs are met as requested. 

• Assumes scheduling responsibility for all assigned client properties including replacement coverage and call-outs. 

• Confirm and submit weekly staff work hours and assignments to Director of finance for accurate payroll processing and client billing. 

• Ability to build and maintain a professional and trustworthy working relationship with team members and clients.

 • Attend daily and weekly client staff meetings. 

Additional Requirements and Duties:

 • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to We Clean. 

• Assist with identifying and interviewing new staff to build a pipeline of qualified talent.

 • Flexibility to work early days and be on-call (via phone) during the weekends and holidays, as needed. 

Qualifications

Must possess a NYS driver license. A personal vehicle is preferred. 

Must have prior experience managing teams /Professional and leadership skills 

Ability to excel and react positively to demands from clients and supervisor

Organized and detailed orientation
