Salary: $120K to $150K DOE (Plus annual bonus)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop collaborative relationships with leaders of specific functional areas, providing strategic advice and hands-on support on people-related matters.
  • Provide direct leadership to a team of HR Business Partners, modeling strategic HRBP behaviors and skills, and assisting with complex people issues.
  • Guide and support managers in performance management, development, succession planning, retention, engagement, and career progression of their team members.
  • Proactively engage with client groups to anticipate challenges and propose solutions that support business growth.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Advocate for team members by promoting the use of feedback mechanisms with managers and the executive team, both formally and informally.
  • Coach managers on delivering effective feedback and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Promote managerial practices that enhance retention of high-potential and key talent.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance problems.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers on recruitment strategies and compensation practices as needed.
  • Conduct investigations and manage complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Assist the HR team in developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Lead and participate in initiatives that boost employee engagement, strengthen organizational culture, and contribute to HR process improvements.


Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience as a strategic HR Business Partner, with mandatory experience in private equity and/or manufacturing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in directly managing HRBPs or HR team members.
  • 5+ years of experience with a proficient understanding of local labor laws and regulations across multiple states.
  • 5+ years of experience in devising and executing HR strategies and initiatives that yield tangible business outcomes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Analytical mindset, skilled in using HR data and metrics to derive insights and support decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach, combining strategic thinking and tactical execution.
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, CIPD) preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as UKG preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
