Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software integration and possess a current DoD Secret clearance. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software integration solutions to ensure seamless interaction between various systems and applications within our organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement integration solutions to ensure the seamless operation of software applications and systems. This includes designing and configuring middleware and APIs to facilitate communication between different software components.
  • Analyze system requirements and specifications to identify integration needs and develop appropriate solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define integration requirements.
  • Write and test code to implement integration solutions. Ensure that integration solutions meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for integration issues. Monitor and maintain integration solutions to ensure continuous operation and address any issues that arise.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, configurations, and solutions. Ensure that all integration activities are well-documented for future reference and compliance purposes.
  • Work closely with software developers, system architects, and other engineering teams to ensure that integration solutions are aligned with overall system architecture and design principles.
  • Ensure that all integration solutions comply with DoD regulations and security standards. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in software integration, with a strong understanding of integration frameworks, middleware, and APIs.
  • Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
  • Proficiency in integration technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel). Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude towards achieving team goals.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality integration solutions.
