In this capacity, you will engage in significant, mission-critical initiatives that directly influence national security and intelligence operations.

The Systems Integration Engineer will support clients in the integration of Single Sign-On functionalities into their systems or enterprise solutions. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with development teams and system administrators to assist in resolving integration challenges. Responsibilities will include conducting analyses, diagnostics, and preliminary assessments of new Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products and tools. A solid understanding of PKI/TLS, SAML/OAuth/OIDC concepts is essential, and while not mandatory, some programming experience may be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in the installation and customization of COTS products within an enterprise environment on both Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Knowledgeable about Secure Token Services and Single Sign-On mechanisms.
  • Experience with integration of platforms such as Ping, Okta, or Keycloak.
  • Possesses AWS and/or Azure Cloud certifications and relevant experience.
  • Familiar with orchestration and automation tools, including cloud-native architectures.
  • Serves as an integrator within a team, collaborating directly with functional counterparts on requirements gathering, program specifications, and design of information systems.
  • Capable of developing, diagnosing, and debugging automation processes while integrating modern and legacy tools to enhance business operations.
  • Understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiar with the software development lifecycle, including change management and the development of functional and technical specifications.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Analyzes user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.
  • Leads design and development activities based on system requirements.
  • Advises users in formulating requirements, exploring alternative solutions, and conducting feasibility studies.
  • Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, incorporating new plans and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Responsible for developing technical documentation.
  • Creates system architecture and design documentation.
  • Guides system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and testing plans.
  • Engages with government representatives regarding technical considerations and associated challenges.
  • Ultimately accountable for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables related to the Systems Engineering domain.
  • Communicates effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.

Clearance Requirement:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is mandatory.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of Systems Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. An additional five (5) years of Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree, totaling fifteen (15) years.
