  • Designs, develops and maintains databases.
  • Designs, implements and supports database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures.
  • Develops and implements database security infrastructure and user access accounts.
  • Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations.
  • Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches. Monitors database performance trends to identify and correct problems.
  • Designs, develops and maintains complex databases.
  • Creates procedures for the design, implementation and test of database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures.
  • Creates plans for the implementation of database security infrastructure.
  • Consults with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations.
  • Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches.
  • Provides input on organizational standards for database monitoring thresholds. Monitors performance trends to identify and correct problems.


ALL REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • MUST HAVE Min 8+ years experience a must with HPE NonStop/virtual NonStop (either or) but both great to have
  • MUST HAVE SQL/MX experience a must
  • MUST HAVE Extensive experience with database design
  • MUST HAVE Strong understanding of relational databases
  • MUST HAVE Strong understanding of isolation and transaction concepts
  • MUST HAVE Detailed understanding of temporal databases (highly required, MUST)
  • MUST HAVE Able to write complex queries
  • MUST HAVE Experience maintaining SQL/MX databases and creating them on demand
  • MUST HAVE Experience at disk management
  • MUST HAVE Experience with recommending Database Management Systems (DBMS) to leadership
  • MUST BE willing to work within a team


Education : Bachelor in any IT technical discipline HIGH DESIRED BUT NOT REQURIED. MUST HAVE
