Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through research, networking, and industry databases. Initiate outbound calls to prospects to introduce Indian River Transport’s services.
  • Outbound Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls to engage potential clients, present our value proposition, and schedule follow-up meetings or demos as needed.
  • Sales Development: Utilize persuasive communication to convert leads into potential clients. Understand and address prospects' needs and objections effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospects. Track lead status, follow-up activities, and results.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on lead generation activities, outcomes, and any insights or trends observed during outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a call center or inside sales role is preferred but not required. Strong interest in sales and a willingness to learn.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle high call volumes with a positive attitude.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for sales and customer interaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
