Position Description:

  • Provide environmental air permitting support to comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Generate and submit all air permit applications utilizing consultants.
  • Ensure adherence to data collection, permit requests, and QAQC procedures by the team as well as company standards
  • Make applicability determinations related to OOOO/OOOOa/OOOOb, NESHAPs
  • Communicate equipment, flash factors, or emissions changes to the Emission Accounting team on a monthly basis
  • Maintain constant communications with the Production Operations, Facilities Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure permits are accurate and air permit conditions are achievable.
  • Gather, maintain and analyze datasets that can be used for environmental reports.
  • Responsible for project management, including the development of requests for bid proposals, and supervision of contractors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/engineering and/or technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant upstream Oil & Gas experience
  • 3+ years of Oil & Gas air permitting experience.
  • New Mexico or Texas environmental compliance experience
  • Experience with environmental engineering software to calculate of air emissions (i.e. TanksESP, HYSIS, Symetry, ProMax, E&P Tanks 2.0v)
  • Prior experience permitting compressor engines and production facilities is preferred.

Position Details:

  • Pay Rate: $80-82 per hour
  • Hours: Monday - Friday (8 hr days). 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
  • Location: Houston, TX with the ability to travel 25% of the time to field locations
