As a Product Marketing Manager / Business Line Manager at L&J Technologies, you will be the strategic leader driving the success and growth of our L&J and S&J product lines. This dual-role position encompasses both the marketing and business line management of our products, requiring a deep understanding of the technical aspects, market dynamics, customer relationships, and sales enablement.


You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing product lifecycles, building strong relationships with key customers, and driving revenue growth. Additionally, you will play a critical role in developing sales tools, creating training materials, and motivating the sales team to achieve their targets.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Line Growth & Management:

  • Take full responsibility for the growth and profitability of the L&J and S&J product lines, including revenue targets and market share expansion.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product lines, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring products meet market needs and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to define product requirements, features, and enhancements.

Sales Enablement & Motivation:

  • Develop effective sales tools, collateral, and training materials to empower the sales team and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Conduct training sessions for sales reps to enhance their product knowledge, selling techniques, and motivation to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support customer engagements, presentations, and large account management.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive continuous product improvement and innovation.
  • Support the sales team in large account management, customer presentations, and negotiations.

Strategic Marketing & Positioning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives and drive market share growth.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring successful adoption and market penetration.

Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for the L&J and S&J product lines, ensuring alignment across all departments and driving a culture of excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering is required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in product line management, with a strong track record in product marketing and customer development.
  • Domain expertise in safety and monitoring equipment within the industrial storage tank equipment market, including water and wastewater, oil and gas, chemical, and food & beverage industries.
  • Proven ability to drive product line growth and achieve revenue targets through effective sales enablement and customer engagement.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex product features and benefits.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage large customer accounts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
