POSITION SUMMARY / MISSION:
The Commercial Data and Veeva CRM Analyst will support business decision-making by providing insightful analysis, market trends, and operational efficiency. This role also involves administering, configuring, and supporting the Veeva CRM system, ensuring it is optimized to support business processes and objectives. Importantly, this position offers a hybrid work model, with the option to work from our Malvern, PA headquarters location or remotely, providing flexibility to suit individual preferences.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze commercial sales and market data to identify trends, forecast demand, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing strategies.
• Developing and maintaining sales reporting and executive dashboards
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and IT teams to gather and document business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales and marketing performance.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies. • Monitor and report on competitors’ strategies, sales performance, and market activities to inform strategic planning.
• Support the development and maintenance of reference documentation, including SOPs, process flow maps, training resources, etc.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting business performance, market trends, and strategic opportunities.
• Administer and configure the Veeva CRM system to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Veeva CRM system, working with Veeva support as needed.
• Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the Veeva CRM system.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data stewardship.
• Proven experience with Veeva CRM administration and support.
• Strong understanding of CRM principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in analytical software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional team
PREFERRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Understanding of project management tools like JIRA.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.
• CRM Administration: Experience with Veeva CRM, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems
• Knowledge of Veeva CRM integrations with other systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to CRM data management.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• SQL: Ability to query and manipulate relational databases
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI to create insightful dashboards and reports
• Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python for data analysis and automation
• Databricks: Experience with Databricks for data engineering, including developing and maintaining data processing pipelines
• Data Quality Analysis: Skills in ensuring data integrity and conducting regular audits
• Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and services, particularly those related to CRM and data management
