Job Title: Lead Cybersecurity Analyst

Vanguard Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Global Risk and Security team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support for cyber threat analysis and threat attack methodologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and respond to escalated cyber security alerts, cyber incidents, or related security investigations.
  • Provide written assessments focused on threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies relevant to Vanguard Infrastructure.
  • Oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of threat intelligence from various sources, including OSINT, dark web monitoring, commercial threat feeds, and internal incident data.
  • Lead the processes, tools, and measures to monitor and detect compromises, risks, vulnerabilities, network security threats, tools, and tactics used by modern and emerging threat actors.
  • Conduct threat modeling exercises by leveraging threat intelligence frameworks and orchestrate threat hunts in coordination with department and divisional partners to determine gaps in existing security controls.
  • Lead with IT and business teams to ensure prompt and effective distribution of findings so incidents are addressed in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
  • Mentor junior team members to improve their technical acumen.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Must be obtain CISSP within one year of hire.
  • Expert-level knowledge on the automation of threat intelligence, driving organizational strategy on TIP implementation and optimization.
