UPSIDE on Moore is a vibrant and innovative Food Hall, in Arlington VA, offering a diverse array of culinary experiences under one roof. We bring together a curated selection of food vendors from the DMV area, creating a dynamic atmosphere where food lovers can explore new flavors and enjoy exceptional dining experiences. Our mission is to become a culinary destination that celebrates creativity, quality, and community.

The venue has 8 different food vendors (including a bar), a variety of event spaces and a 200-person outdoor patio.


Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Marketing Manager to join our team and lead our marketing efforts in promoting our Food Hall. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the food and beverage industry, with a proven track record of creating successful campaigns and driving brand awareness.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, managing promotional campaigns, analyzing market trends, conducting competitor research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.


This is a full-time mostly on-site role.


Candidates should excel at generating innovative ideas, thrive in dynamic environments juggling multiple projects, enjoy building relationships and strengthening community connections, and possess strong analytical and reporting skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase visibility, drive foot traffic, and enhance the overall brand presence of the food hall.Content Creation: Oversee the creation of managing content for digital platforms, including social media, website, email newsletters, and promotional materials.Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with food vendors to highlight their unique offerings and integrate their marketing efforts with the food hall’s overall strategy.Event Promotion: Plan and promote events with the team, special offers, and seasonal campaigns to attract new visitors and retain loyal customers.Market Research: Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, track industry trends, and identify new opportunities for growth.Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, provide regular reports, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local influencers, media, and community organizations to enhance the food hall’s reputation and reach.



Qualifications

Minium of 3-6 years of work in regional/community marketing, integrated marketing, or brand strategyMarketing Strategy, Campaign Management, and Market Analysis skillsDigital and social media marketing managementCreative thinker with a business-minded approach who’s tuned into cultural, and brand happenings + insightsExcellent communication and presentation skillsSelf-starter who can work independently and with a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related fieldPrevious experience in the culinary or hospitality industry is a plus
