We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to lead our largest U.S printed circuit board facility located in Minnetonka, MN.


If you are a proven leader with experience managing cross functional teams in a complex manufacturing environment, have demonstrated success delivering outstanding service to customers and achieving aggressive financial performance targets, this opportunity could be for you.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Leads, develops and supports plant staff and employees in various functional disciplines including manufacturing, engineering, quality, materials management, maintenance, environmental and human resources.
  • Manages plant team, is able to consistently meet/exceed financial plan and is able to assess complex situations to properly deploy and optimize resources.
  • Drives KPI performance to achieve/exceed targets. This includes process yields, on time delivery, manufacturing cycle time, labor efficiency, employee development, purchase costs, environmental compliance, employee safety and other similar metrics.
  • Oversees and provides valuable input to functional staff leaders to help maintain and optimize processes, systems and support employees.
  • Participates in the development and control of manufacturing and quality processes to ensure product compliance and efficient production.
  • Applies a methodical approach to problem solving and has an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participates in the identification of capital resource requirements and annual financial planning cycles.
  • Delivers monthly updates to executive management in a team setting.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.



Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven leader able to support and guide the plant team to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Track record of recruiting and developing employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Clear accomplishments on delivering outstanding support to customers
  • Demonstrated success achieving financial targets and year over year improvements.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both in personal and group settings.
  • Experience in lean practices and statistical process control
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Hands on leader and a working member of the team.



Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline or business required, Master’s considered a plus.
  • Proven experience leading a manufacturing business is required. Printed circuit board, solar, semiconductor, circuit board assembly or other process related experience is considered a plus.
  • Able to demonstrate success managing and developing teams, supporting customers and achieving/exceeding financial targets.
