Duties and Responsibilities:


Love the art of the deal and the sale.

o  Find opportunities and detailed follow-up.

o  Promotional campaigns that make working with SageMG irresistible.

o  Effectively track opportunities.

Embrace goals and KPIs. Work toward a defined set of goals/quotas and track/report your successes on a weekly basis.

Be ambidextrous. Be able to multi-task and handle a number of hot projects at once.

Go old school. Be comfortable with Basic Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace Suite (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.).

Yet, be new school. Use our HighLevel CRM to track and report on your accomplishments.

Love thy customer. Be customer-service focused and friendly.

Tell a good story. Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Be a proven commodity. We want to hear about your previous consultative sales experience.

Have paid your dues. 4-year degree in marketing or business discipline and/or 3-4 years business development experience preferred.

Be interesting. Don’t be afraid to talk to anyone. Be persistent, yet fun to be around.


Basic Workplace Stuff:

·     Be a team player. No jerks allowed.

·     Enjoy your work. You will spend 8-10 hours a day on this stuff, and we want you to be happy doing it.

·     Work effectively with team members as well as autonomously. We don’t micromanage, so you need to work well without us looking over your shoulder. Allows for hybrid work, but expectation is live in area so can be in the office and interact with team directly.

·     Be a good SageMG-er. Adhere to our policies and keep your behaviors and actions consistent with Sage Marketing Group’s values and standards.

·     Continuously look for ways you can improve or help the team improve, so we can better service our clients.

·     Be organized, perceptive, and insightful. We love fresh perspectives.


Stuff We’d Like You to Have:

·     Understanding of design tools agencies use: Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign, Canva and the like.

·     Understanding of Wordpress and Shopify.

·     Understanding of social media networks as related to marketing.

·     Working understanding of marketing tech stacks.

·     A list of target clients from past connections.

·     Previous marketing management experience.


Expectations:

  • Initially, 85% of your time will be dedicated to business development.
  • Utilize a variety of tools, including in-bound marketing, cold calling, warm calling, leads groups, and promotional campaigns.
  • 10% of your role will involve contributing creative ideas for marketing deliverables.
  • 5% of your time will be dedicated to team collaboration and miscellaneous tasks to support the company and clients.
