Sales Representative

Our financial stability, deep industry expertise and robust manufacturing capacity have enabled us to partner with global brands that rely on our team of industry experts to design, develop and manufacture: corrugated packaging & displays, paperboard & plastic folding cartons, rigid set-up boxes and thermoformed trays & displays. The role of Account Manager will focus on developing and managing client relationships that are mutually beneficial to both McLean Packaging and our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify and identify the business needs of prospects, building strong decision-maker relationships to generate new business growth.
- Utilize a consultative, problem-solving approach to sell our broad scope of secondary and tertiary packaging capabilities.
- Develop and implement account specific strategies to achieve client goals and objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams to align client expectations with company innovation and capabilities.
- Seek opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services or products to extend our reach within an account.
- Lead internal support team on daily account activity related to design, pricing, approvals, purchase orders, press approvals, logistics, etc.
- Act proactively to prevent potential problems and ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the course of an account.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and project details.
Expectations:
- Maintain professionalism with customers and McLean Packaging staff at all times
- Independently work towards objectives, demonstrating exceptional time management skills to exceed customer expectations.
- Drive revenue growth in volume and profitability.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
- Communicate effectively through various channels, including oral, written, and presentation, while actively listening to customer needs.
- Maintain accurate and updated activity reports using CRM tool.
- Utilize the Microsoft Office 365 Suite to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of sales experience required
- Undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred
