We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the apparel industry, a strong command of SQL, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Business Analysis: Conduct detailed business analysis to understand and document requirements, focusing on the unique needs and challenges of the apparel industry. This includes the documentation of requirements for various system applications such as ERP processes, WMS processes, CRM processes, and others.
  • Data Management: Utilize SQL to query databases, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate across the organization to design and implement IT solutions that improve operations, enhance efficiency, and drive business growth.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines, ensuring project specifications are completed on time and within scope, or communicating the tradeoffs to scope and schedule when this is not possible.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and solutions, project timelines, blockers to progress and risks as they arise.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology enhancements to maintain best-in-class standards.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides. Assist solution architects and developers with technical documentation as needed.
  • Support: Provide support and technical assistance / expertise to business users within various different systems and platforms as needed. Assist in managing IT support ticket queue and assigning priorities to tickets as issues arise.


Requirements: 


  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in the apparel industry. Experience with at least one ERP implementation is a must, multiple implementations is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL with a strong ability to query databases and generate insightful reports. Experience with other databases and BI tools is a plus. Any experience with Google Big Query and Google Looker Studio is also a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the apparel industry's business processes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive effective solutions. Ability to capture business requirements clearly and provide technical documentation assistance where needed.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with a proactive and positive attitude. Willingness to take on tasks as needed to support the team and business.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
